Seven of Australia's brightest new creative stars walked away with $10,000 in cash and flights, and a mentoring program with the internationally acclaimed creative icons that will guide their future careers, as the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYA) were announced in Sydney on November 11.

The Top Ten finalists in the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award for 2009 have been decided. Adam Cornish, Daniel.Emma (Daniel To & Emma Aiston), David Knott, Gary Galego, Helen Kontouris, Joseph Ormrod, Kain Lucas, Marcel Sigel, Rohan Nicol and Tomek Archer have all been shortlisted to make up the Top Ten for this year's competition.
