30 August – 11 October 2014
Lola Greeno: Cultural Jewels is the eighth in our Living Treasures: Masters of Australian Craft series. Our first Indigenous Living Treasure, Greeno is a shellworker and artist from Tasmania, whose career spans 30 years. Her stunning work is highly coveted by both public and private collectors alike.
This exhibition is a collaboration with the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, where the exhibition will open, ahead of its stint at Object Gallery from 30 August – 11 October 2014. Lola Greeno: Cultural Jewels will be accompanied by a beautiful monograph and digital content, with the monograph for the first time also being published as an eBook.
