Designer Gone Wild: MC Michael Hing

We’re catching up with each of the stars of our upcoming event Designers Gone Wild to find out what makes them tick as they get set for a night of cross-firing ideas and creative curveballs.

You’ve met all of our Design stars who’ll be going wild on the night — Lisa Gray, Tim Horton, Mick Alvisse, and Simone LeAmon — but who’s going to be running the show?

To keep things under control on the night, we’ve enlisted the expert assistance of comedian, radio host, writer, aspiring global taste maker and expert sandwich maker Michael Hing.

Check out the rest of the post below, and grab your tickets for Designers Gone Wild, showcased at this year’s Vivid Ideas.

Go West

The fantastic Western Plains Cultural Centre at Dubbo has long been a popular gallery for Object’s touring exhibitions, and the latest that I am up here installing this week is Lola Greeno: Cultural Jewels exhibition; the eighth in our Living Treasures series.

It is exciting to see how quickly crates, pallets of boxes and piles of legs can turn into a beautiful display.
