Learn

Object offers a variety of ways for students and teachers to experience craft and design.
• View exhibitions in the main gallery and the project space
• Hear a talk by a curator, educator or designer
• Watch a video about a designer
• Participate in a design, art or craft workshop
• Take a walking tour around the creative precinct of Surry Hills and discover other galleries, shops and the diversity of architecture on the main roads and back lanes.
Our experienced staff can create tailor made programs to suit students from kindergarten through to secondary and tertiary learning. These programs are designed to broaden students’ understanding of craft and design, and excite them about the many possibilities these disciplines have to offer.
