Every year, Object coordinates a curators meeting connecting the peak organisations from all states and territories in Australia that represent the professional craft and design sector.

The meeting provides a forum for creative exchange and dialogue, networking, research and professional development for up to 20 curators.

Participants are both established and emerging curators from a broad spectrum of disciplines and backgrounds.

Funded by the Australia Council, Object’s annual curators meeting is by invitation only.

Part of Sydney Design Festival 2010, presented by the Powerhouse Museum.

Object: Australian Centre for Craft and Design is supported by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments. Object is assisted by the New South Wales Government - Arts NSW, and the Australian government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.
